Sales Supervisor

Job Summary

A responsible key support and assistant to Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the store. This include team supervision, provide encouragement and discipline in driving sales,  build and maintain rapport with key customers and executing all directives of management for smooth operations and achievement of sales target.

Job Responsibilities

Sales
• Achieve monthly sales target of the boutique(s).
Customer Service
• Recruit new customers and maintain a good relationship with them.
• Handle customers’ concerns and complaints.
• Ensure team members practice service standards as per Company’s guideline.
• Maintain a good relationship with current, potential and important customers.
• Provide personalised service to selected important customers.
Housekeeping and Maintenance
• Ensure cleaniness and tidiness of the boutique(s) are maintained at all times
• Maintain an attractive and appropriate visual display of merchandise in the boutique.
• Ensure fixtures in the boutique are in good conditions.
Inventory Control and Security
• Responsible for stock positioning and the monitoring of stock levels.
• Liaise with Warehouse on stock requisition and movement.
• Manage stock damage and discrepancies.
Operations
• Assist in planning monthly sales target for each team member.
• Assist in planning duty roster and assign duties to team members as necessary.
• Conduct weekly meetings and briefings.
• Assist in completing the Sales Commission Report, Overtime Report and other reports as necessary.
Supervisory
• Manage the boutique and team members in the absence of the Manager.
• Supervise the sales team for achieving of sales target and completing day-to-day operations of the boutique.
• Provide guidance to new team members on Company practices, shop floor orientation, basic product knowledge and other related areas as necessary.
Others
• Provide feedback and recommendation to enhance sales and customer database.
• Feedback on categories or groups of merchandise not performing for each season.
• Communicate to staff of changes in directions and policies of the Company.
• Ensure all regular reports for submission to Headoffice are done accurately and on a timely basis.
• Ensure monthly expenses are well within budget.
• Build and maintain good relationship with mall/retail management.
• Recruit, build and motivate a strong team that work towards the common objectives.
• Recommend suitable training programs for the development of the team.
• Ensure Merchandising guideline of Principals are being adhered to and ensure all shop windows, in-store and store room are well merchandised and in tip-top condition.
• Active involvement in the marketing activities of the boutique and brand events.

Job Requirements

• Minimum  Diploma in Business or relevant with 3 years of experience in store operations, preferably in luxury/fashion retail.
• Strong people management skills with good interpersonal skills
• A team player and able to work independently, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Approachable, love meeting people and sales driven.
• English. Mandarin speaking skill is an added advantage.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays..
