Account Executive

Job Summary

Accounts Executive (AR) ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming payments. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, issuing invoices, and following up on overdue payments. Collaborates closely with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and implements effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances. May assist in generating financial reports and analyzing AR data to support decision-making processes. A successful candidate for this role possesses strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform customer credit control functions
  • Investigate disputes with customers and relevant stakeholders
  • Organise meeting with salesperson on overdue invoices matter
  • Generate weekly and monthly AR aging reports and manage overdue invoices
  • Take appropriate debt collection or legal actions
  • Follow up with customers on payments
  • Submit e-invoicing to customers
  • Able to perform bank reconciliation, funds monitoring and accounting entries
  • Support and assist in other related AR activities
  • Assist in financial audit, month-end and year-end closing
  • Participate in company-wide tasks (e.g. stock-takes)

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must be a Singaporean with at least an accounting diploma
  • Meticulous, systematic and well-organised with information relating to customers and payment issues
  • Outgoing and able to articulate well.
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Possess intermediate knowledge on MS Excel, accounting and ERP system functions
  • Familiar with EPR system and F&B wholesales business is a plus
