Butcher - Culina
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of raw meat products
- Cut, trim, debone, and grind meats with the use of knife, mincer, slicer, bandsaw
- Slice ham, wrap, weigh and label price tags on item ordered by shoppers
- Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye
- Replenishment of products, as well as monitoring expiry dates and shelf lives of products
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Handle order fulfilment processes
- Record quantity of meat received and issued and keep records of meat sales
- Provide good customer service to ensure they have a positive customer experience at all times; and gain product knowledge so as to promote sales and communicate with customers
- Ensure the serve over counter is in a good and presentable condition
- Wash down all equipment, tools, utensils and area cleaning at end of the day
- Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
- Comply with all corporate policies and statutory acts compliance
- Perform duties as directed by immediate superior
Job Requirements
- Singaporean with at least a GCE’ O’ level certificate or Professional Certificate in Culinary preferred
- Meat cutting skill a must
- Customer service oriented with a positive mindset
- 2 years of relevant working experience in service related field
